I Thought I Understood Internet Headlines. But This List Changed Everything I Ever Believed.

Lately, Facebook newsfeeds have been blowing up with Upworthy and Viral Nova posts. These posts mainly consist of videos that inject the viewer with a nice shot of happiness or optimism that tends to wear off in a few minutes. In an attempt to help with this trend, The Gabbler has created a list of headline ideas that we’re thinking would do fairly well on either website. Shockingly, this list took about five minutes to come up with, given how well-thought out, provocative, and in depth these pieces tend to be on Upworthy and Viral Nova.

-This Vlog of an Outraged Person Will Support Everything You Already Believed About Feminism.

-I Used to Not Seize the Day. Then I Watched This Video About How Short Life Is and Thought About It for A While.

-This Story About Someone Dying from Cancer Will Teach You Everything You Ever Needed to Know About Writing a Viral Headline.

-A Spoken Word Poet Saying Things Very Passionately Sums Up Everything You Ever Believed About That Issue You’re Always Championing.

-You Have to See This Person Who Stereotypically Should Be Opposed to Women’s/LGBT/Black Rights Defend Them. It’ll Change How You View the World.

-These Women Have Been Through Something Terrifying and Horrific. We Decided to Share It to Get More Page Views.
