CHIAA (Chiə): A new Twitter Trend started by Katie Holmes following her recent split from Tom Cruise. CHIAA is an acroynm for “Can’t Have It All, Anyway,” and was inspired by writer Anne-Marie Slaughter’s popular article titled,“Why Women Still Can’t Have it All.” The trend has taken the nation by storm and appears to be used by women as a way to express personal frustration over failures to complete normative, gender-based tasks. Examples found on Twitter: 1.) “Who brings store-bought cookies to my work’s charity bake sale…then secretly eats most of them? This gal. #CHIAA”  2.) “Forgot 2 pick up kid from @daycare b/c I was watching reality TV re… AGAIN #CHIAA”

‘Mericanismo (mɛrɪkənɪzmoʊ):  An extreme form of nationalism and pride in America that typically reaches a peak around July 4th each year, resulting in a person’s need to assert how American they are. “How was your day?” “Great! I ate apple pie, played baseball, and got an eagle tattoo while I read the Bible. You know, the usual.” “Oh, cut your ‘Mericanismo crap. You drive a fucking Toyota, dude.
Antonyms: ‘Mericantismo, Communist, Liberal

Politiffing (pɒlɪtɪfɪŋ):  A form of extreme political debate which ends only when a candidate makes his or her opponent go deaf from yelling as loudly as possible over the other about his or her own views and opinions. If politiffing made it into this years Olympics, Newt Gingrich would be a serious contender for the gold medal.
