Media boner (midiə boʊnər): A condition in which the media is especially dazzled by the inherent drama of a given news story. Wow, people really have a giant media boner for this whole Petraeus scandal. I haven’t seen this much coverage of one story since the Casey Anthony trial.

Chamblissed (tʃæmblɪst): To be the victim of a friend going back on a pact made years or even decades earlier in your friendship. Often the result of a major change in circumstances. Man, I totally got chamblissed. We made a pact at ten years old that we would never get married because chicks have cooties and here he is, engaged at the mere age of 30.
